Unmounted, Loose Diamonds: Our return policy allows for a 100% refund, minus shipping & handling fees, on unmounted, loose diamonds only. The diamond must be returned in its original state with all associated certificates and appraisals. All diamond returns must be made within five (5) days of receipt; if returning by mail all packages must be postmarked within these five days. We must be notified of the return via phone or email prior to the package being mailed. Return packages must be double-boxed and insured for the full value of the purchase price. Seattle Diamonds is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
Unworn, Finished Jewelry: Our return policy allows from 100% refund, minus $35 restocking fee, on unworn, finished jewelry only. All returned products must be in original condition and include all packaging, envelopes, and bags. All jewelry returns must be made within twenty-one (21) days of receipt; if returning by mail all packages must be postmarked within these 21 days. Items returned because of manufacturing defects will be exchanged.
All Returns Via Shipment: We must be notified of the return via phone or email prior to the package being mailed. Insurance coverage must be for full value of purchase price of returns. Seattle Diamonds is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. Additional fees may apply for abuse of return privileges, not following guidelines, or shipping back of unaccepted items. Seattle Diamonds is unable to accept hazardous materials or cash on delivery (COD) return shipments. Return shipments must be via UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service or Brinks.
Website Purchases: Jewelry purchases made on SeattleDiamonds.com ship free, insured by FedEx Express or UPS Next Day Air. Packages will arrive next day and require a signature upon receipt. In-Store Purchases: Seattle Diamonds will ship your order insured by FedEx Express or Brinks. Shipping fees will depend on method of shipment and merchandise value. Packages will arrive next day and require a signature upon receipt. Guaranteed delivery times are based on your zip code.
Shipping Liability: All carriers are responsible and liable for any damages that occur during transit. If you suspect any damage or shortage caused during transit, follow these instructions:
- Do not sign freight bill or receipt without making a notation on the freight bill.
- Retain all packing material and shipping cartons until the carrier has made an inspection.
- File a claim directly with the carrier within fifteen (15) days. Seattle Diamonds cannot file a claim for you.
All prices listed are based on cash, wire transfer, check or money order purchase. Payment by credit card will incur a 3% handling fee.
Seattle Diamonds does not charge any sales tax on purchases which are shipped outside of Washington State. All purchases made or shipped within Washington State are subject to sales tax.
